Focus group chaired by Fent Estudi to share best practice with a citizen’s laboratory wishing to create a library at the Centre for Contemporary Culture in the El Carmen neighbourhood of Valencia. The objective of the training was to clarify the dynamics and resources necessary to launch a pilot Delocalised Expanded Library (DEL) at the CCCC.
The tools and knowledge facilitated will be deployed by the citizen’s laboratory, enabling key stakeholders to jointly draw up a new model for a 21st century library: a space promoting free access to collective knowledge, creation and learning, thus driving the reinvigoration of the immediate neighbourhood.
