nosaltres-fentestudi

Fent Estudi Coop. V. is a Valencian cooperative made up of architects, town planners and technicians. It was founded in 2016 by Eva Raga i Domingo, Isabel Gonzalez Galindo and Francisco Azorin Chico. We carry out studies and projects involving active citizen participation and making use of locally available resources, in the aim of creating fairer and more inclusive urban architectural environments.

We are motivated by the creation of mutually beneficial relationships between people and their built environment, conscious of the fact that stakeholder participation is vital to achieving holistic knowledge and understanding of the terrain so as to bring about results that address the requirements of both a particular space and the population that inhabits it. Over the past few years, we have come to specialise in processes regarding urban and social innovation, as well as in the development of multidisciplinary methodologies, driven by the desire to pursue new ways of seeing and working in a variety of contexts.

Eva Raga i Domingo. Catarroja, 1981. Graduate of the Advanced School of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (2008). Specialised in planning tools and the regeneration and development of deprived neighbourhoods (UPM, 2012).

I am inspired by human relationships: I love being part of creative processes aimed at improving people’s lives and making us more than the sum of our parts. I enjoy mixing ideas and disciplines – not specialising in any one thing but rather bringing in aspects from a broader knowledge base.
Paying attention to detail and having the peace and tranquillity to enjoy my work fully are important to me.

Isabel González Galindo. Barcelona, 1982. Graduate of the Advanced School of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (2007). Advanced Studies Diploma from the Department of Architectural Projects at the UPV. Postgraduate degree in Participatory Methodologies for the Management of Rural Environments (UCM CIMS, 2014).

I enjoy meeting and working with a diverse range of people, and take pleasure in working as part of a team on projects that bring together different disciplines and knowledge bases. I love stories, whether in books or on the big screen.

Fran Azorín Chico. Caudete, 1982. Graduate of the Advanced School of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (2008). Postgraduate degree in Participatory Methodologies for the Management of Rural Environments (UCM CIMS, 2014). Masters Degree in Geographic Information Systems applied to land-use planning in urban and rural environments (UPV, 2021).

As part of Fent Estudi, I enjoy proposing new ideas and projects connected with social and urban innovation to create a synthesis between the needs and resources of the immediate environment. When I’m not working, I take part in social movements, and love to be by the sea or out in the mountains. I’m driven by all that is creative and human.

It has been a privilege to collaborate over the years with everybody who has shared their knowledge and energies with Fent Estudi Coop. V. Thank you for everything!
